Useful Cheats and Glitches in Farmville
Farmville is a fun game, and you certainly don’t need to cheat to enjoy it. Some gamers, however, do get a kick out of finding glitches in the game and exploiting them to their advantage. If you’re one of those gamers, read on to learn about some of the game’s known glitches.
Farmer Trap Glitch
With your farmer positioned on the map, build a fence around him and trap him inside. This may seem cruel, but you’ll soon see why it’s useful. Now when you start planting or harvesting, the farmer will be trapped and will do the work from his current position, saving tons of travel time. You don’t even have to use fence; to save space, trap the farmer with bales of hay.
Good Samaritan Glitch
This glitch will let you earn your Good Samaritan ribbon while helping out your neighbors. Click on a confirmed (not still processing) neighbor’s farm. On the page where you usually choose what chore to do, click on the neighbor’s farm again to load another request instead. You can load as many requests as you want before you accept. This will drastically increase the amount of Good Samaritan points you recieve.
Spy On Your Neighbors Glitch
Select one of your neighbors and go to his farm. Click one of the crops on the farm and drag it underneath the blue home button located near the bottom-right of the screen. Drag your mouse on top of the home button and wait until both the crop and the button turn yellow. Finally, click on the home button to view your neighbor’s growth percentage.
Soybean Delete Glitch
This glitch provides a really easy way to advance to the next level when you have some coins to spare. The developers don’t want anyone to know this one, and have unsuccessfully sought to fix it in the code. First, obtain ten empty plots. Now, plow the plots and fill them with soybeans. Immediately delete the soybeans with the shovel after they have been planted. This sounds counterintuitive, but take a look at the math: planting soybeans will yield 30 XP for each plot! This only costs you 300 coins each time, and you can do this as many times as you want.
Firefox Unlimited Gifts Glitch
This last exploit only works if you use Firefox for your web browser. After you log onto the game, right click on the gifts button. When the menu appears, click on ‘open link in new browser’. You can repeat the last step and open up as many tabs as you want. Select your gift on each tab, but do not confirm the transaction. Go back to the first tab that you opened. You should now be able to hit confirm. The gift will send from each of the tabs you opened, enabling you to send unlimited gifts to your friends.
Use this knowledge responsibly. The point of games like Farmville, afterall, is to have fun. Exploiting these glitches provides an unfair advantage that can ruin the gaming experience of both you and other players. That being said, exploiting known flaws in the game’s design can provide hours of entertainment. Even more fun is finding your own glitches and sharing them with other players!

the soybean cheat does work… you are getting 10 exp points for plowing the land and 2 exp points for each crop and there are ten so 10 x 2 = 20… plus the plowed land makes it 30 points… and it only cost you 150 to plow the land and 150 to buy the crops totaling 300 coins… i didnt see it at first either, but then i realized.@Sarah
Soybean Delete Glitch really works but the Good Samaritan Glitch do not work….when we load the farm again n again…n after that when we accept it again n again…the xp n coins r inreased at that time but when the page is refreshed or reopened then it comes to the normal….all the extra money n xp r finished
The Good Samaritan Glitch works – but only momentarily. You keep helping the same person but after a few minutes you are asked to refresh the page because “FV is out of sink.” When you do, the exp points and extra cash is gone and returns to normal.
Even if you only help the same person a few times, after a while you are still prompted to refresh the page.
They fixed the unlimited gift glitch in farmville in firefox…
Looks like good samaritan glitch and the gift glitch have been corrected.
they all work except the spy on your neighbors
The Firefox Unlimited Gifts Glitch does not work either! The recipient will recive the notices that x number of gifts await. After accepting the gifts, only one gift registered. The other notices (even after clicking accept gift) will only take the player back to FV and not the gift box.

but what they are saying is that you get 30xp for EACH plot…not for everything all together.
the gift glitch doesnt work anymore.. it will show that u sent all the gifts but the person will only b able to claim one
it’s implied and simple math that it’s for all together. think about it.

you only get three xp for each plot. that one is bogus. so you get 30 and not 300 xp. i tried it two or three times.
For the delete soybeans glitch it works like this:
[1exp for plowing + 2exp for planting the soybeans] X 10 plots = 30 exp points
[ Plowing costs:15 coins + Soybeans costs:15 coins] X 10 plots = 300 coins
Good Samaritan Glitch?? i don understant it
But the cheat states that it will yield 30xp per Plot! It’s 30xp for 10 plots!
When he says plot he is calling the 10 squares a the plot. You can do this glitch all over ur entire growing space but it does take time e.g. you could do this to a 100 squares with any crop .

The spy on your neighbor worked! I tried it. When the crop under the Return Home button is highlighted yellow, you click the return home button. This will give you a quick glance on the highlighted crop, plant or animal’s growth. Make sure it is highlighted.
I think the point of the good samaritan cheat is not for the XP or coins. It’s for the number of neighbours you helped, so that you could get the Good Samaritan ribbon faster.

what is there not to work? you gain your experience when you plant…. you delete them so you don’t waste time growing worthless plants! They choose soybeans because their cheap!

I will assume you misread the soybean glitch as it states that it will COST you 300 coins and you will EARN 30 XP.
So, the only thing that is bogus is your reading skills! (and that was said with tongue firmly implanted in cheek)
i did the good samaritan glitch it worked! I even laughed while doing it coz i got so many coins click after click BUT…. it gives you an error box and u hav to refresh page…when u return to Fv and play, your coins goes way back! Before u started doing the cheating….BUSTED!

u can click on ur friends farm then if it comes up with … needs help on their farm or something thenclick it agian aand again and soo on and insted of 20 coins u get double each time you re do it lollzzz
The good samaritan glitch works but I would keep it under 20 per neighbor or you could loose the coins and xp. And waste your effort.
