FrontierVille Collections

One of the things that keeps FrontierVille very interesting and highly replayable are the collections. Everytime to you do something in the game that provides rewards, such as planting crops, chasing away varmints, chopping down trees, etc., you have a small chance of getting a special item to drop that is part of a collection. Some of the items in each collection are common, while often one or two are very rare. Whenever you complete a collection, you can trade it in for a reward. The rewards come in all shapes and sizes and often can be in the form of special items or even additional XP and Energy. Some rewards are a lot more valuable than others, particularly at different stages of the game.

One thing to keep in mind is that some of the items in collections are also needed to complete goals and missions in the game. So you don’t necessarily want to trade in a collection as soon as you complete it. It’s often better to wait until after you complete your mission or quest so that the items can be used for those goals instead. We’ve indicated in the notes in each collection where you’ll want to wait and hold on.

New collections are introduced to FrontierVille all the time, especially around new events, so we’ll try to keep this list updated as much as possible.

Keeping everything running on your homestead is hard work. It would be great if you had some extra help. Fortunately, that’s easy to do in Frontierville using your friends. Of course, friends can help you out on their own by visiting your homestead, but you can also hire your friends to help you out with specific tasks.

To hire your friend, click on their name in your toolbar and then click on Hire. You can hire two friends per day and it will cost you 50 coins each time you hire a friend. What should you put them to work on? Well, the best strategy is to have your friends either harvest your crops or your trees. Both of these activities have solid returns in both coins and food and you’ll stand a good chance of earning back your 50 coins. Don’t have your hired friends work on clearing your fields, as this produces very little in the way of rewards and you won’t earn back your coins.

It’s holiday time in Frontierville and there’s a new quest to help you celebrate Independence Day here in the United States. The new Fireworks quest series will give you some great new rare items, but you have to start by making some fireworks. And to get those fireworks, you’ll need two items: fire and saltpeter. Of the two, fire is the easiest. If you’ve been playing the game for a while, you probably already have all you need. Saltpeter is a little more difficult, and well, icky to get.

Frontierville Manure Collection

The key is completing your Manure collection. Every once in a while, you get manure drops from animals on your frontier as you feed them. When you collect enough manure from several different animals, you’ll be able to turn in the collection for Saltpeter, which can then be used to craft fireworks for the quest. The challenge is getting enough manure. You’ll need to complete the following for each Saltpeter:

  • Poultry Puddin – Collect from geese and chickens
  • Piggy Poop – Collect from pigs
  • Brush Brownie – Collect from sheep and goats
  • Prairie Pile – Collect from horses and mules
  • Meadow Muffin – Collect from cows and oxen

In addition to feeding and farming your own animals, try tending to your neighbor’s animals to increase the manure drops. Collecting enough to make all the fireworks you’ll need is going to take some time, so roll up your sleeves and get to it!

FrontierVille Energy Cheats

by cheatspulse

Energy is a very important concept in FrontierVille. Most everything you can do in the game, such as clearing land, constructing buildings, and tending to your animals, is metered by available energy. Generally, every action you take requires one unit of energy. When you run out of energy, you either need to wait for your [...]
