And it has already hundreds of thousands of players as its population. This beginners’ guide for The Sims Social will help you get most out of the game.
The Sims Social game at the starting point will allow you to create your own character, there is a lot of options when creating your own sim from your gender, look, clothes and even accessories for your sim. Every sim in The Sims Social World there are three important things that you need to focus on and these are the Quest, Energy and Traits. Quests are usually tasks which are given for you to accomplish and gain experience from and earn some simoleons the usual quests are the material gathering or crafting item quests, some of these quests can be accomplished even without expending energy and can be done just by doing tasks around your house or by visiting a friend. Your sim energy bar is set to a maximum of 15, but you can replenish your energy with those energy rewards from the game, and no matter how high of a level you get your energy bar will always be set to a maximum of only 15 energy. Traits are the building blocks for your sims personality and by using your life points you can purchase these traits, the two traits that really stand out are the Ninja and the Great Kisser trait, the ninja trait allows you to move quickly and even lets you teleport through places, while the Great Kisser trait makes it easier for your sim to gain any relationship that you would want.
In The Sims Social refilling your need bars or motives like (Hunger, Social, Fun and etc) will not cost you any energy to fill, any action that has a white box without the energy bolt sign does not expend any energy to fulfill, the good thing about the social need for your sim is that it can easily be filled just visit a friend and interact with them to satisfy your Sims social needs. And if your sim is getting low on energy and is on a quest which requires them to expend more energy. Just try visiting a friend where you will be able to do more activities at your friend’s house with the use of “Bonus Energy” wherein you won’t be using your nearly depleted energy. When crafting items don’t try to craft so many items, the crafting materials are usually the ones needed for completing the quests.
Keeping your sim’s motives (hunger, social, hygiene, fun, and etc.) high at all times, motivated sims get extra simoleons which can be used to improve other parts of your sim’s lifestyle. In The Sims Social you will still need to increase you skills, increasing your skills through the guitar and the computer will let you reap in more simoleons as you will be able to use them to make more simoleons on the streets or on the computer itself. Keep bringing your sim to your friends’ houses as you need to interact. Not only that it makes your sim happy, you will also gain lots of valuable items from them and your sim will get bonus energy from your friends. When interacting with other Sims don’t be too repetitive as two repeated actions during interaction can make the other sim feel negative towards your sim try experimenting with other actions and be spontaneous during interaction. You will need to focus on completion of the quests, these quests give you very valuable rewards and help in your progress with the game’s story, and they are also the ones that unlock the items in the shops which aren’t available at the start of The Sims Social game. Keeping an on wall posts on Facebook is also a must as more and more of your friends play the game they will also share some of the most valuable in game items in the Sims world. Use your items your sim will be able to hold a limited number of each item in your sim inventory, because everything has its use so don’t just waste them and put them to good use. There are some actions that seems to be greyed out when used at your own home for example the action Daydream, try using daydream at your friend’s house instead to complete it. The Sims Social game is a game where you don’t have to be the fastest to win you just need to go at your own phase and do what you want to do and live how you want to live it.
