Ancients in Rival Kingdoms

Ancients are powerful beings in the game Rival Kingdoms. You begin the game with a single Ancient, Sulric (Fire). As you progress through the game, you unlock several new Anicents, each of whom delivers unique powers and abilities that can shape your style of play. The more you use each Ancient in battle, the more they grow in power and ability.

Here’s a detailed look at all the different Ancients you can play in Rival Kingdoms.

Fire Ancients

Sulric (Common)

Rival Kingdoms - Sulric PortraitSulric and his people once lived near the slopes of an ancient volcano. They had come to believe that the sleeping spirit of a dormant Fire God resided there. The village diligently worshipped the volcano, convinced that one day the ‘Sleeping Flame’ would reward them for their devotion.
Whenever the village experienced drought or famine, the people would sacrifice young men and women to the volcano in the hope that one of their sacrifices would be deemed a worthy vessel for the Fire God’s spirit to inhabit. He could then awaken and save them.

But ever since the Phobos came to his home realm he has been forced to abandon a life of being worshiped and take up arms against them.

In doing so, he witnessed many of his family fall to the tide of destruction. Nakhti was unable to protect his mother from being infected by the Phobos. As a result, she turned against the rest of the family, slaughtering his father and twin sisters.

Nakhti had no choice but to kill his own mother. And as she lay dying in his arms, the Phobos infection leaving her in wisps of black smoke, she told him that she had seen what was in the heart of the Phobos. It was not evil. It was worse than evil. It was nothingness; void. They were seeking to unmake creation one realm at a time.
