A big part of the Pottermore experience is finding all of the items in the game. Many are required to progress through the different Moments and Chapters that you encounter. The reward for finding many of the items in the later stages of the game comes in the form of House Points. Many of the items (excluding required items) can be traded with other players. Also, several items in the game can be purchased from the shops in Diagon Alley.
Books
Most of the books you’ll get in the game are located in the different Chapters and Moments and must be found. However, some of the books can be purchased at Flourish and Blotts, the bookstore in Diagon Alley.

Want to mix potions? You’ll certainly need a cauldron. There are three kinds of them in the game. All three are purchased at Potage’s Cauldron Shop. You cannot trade them with other players.
