It’s holiday time in Frontierville and there’s a new quest to help you celebrate Independence Day here in the United States. The new Fireworks quest series will give you some great new rare items, but you have to start by making some fireworks. And to get those fireworks, you’ll need two items: fire and saltpeter. Of the two, fire is the easiest. If you’ve been playing the game for a while, you probably already have all you need. Saltpeter is a little more difficult, and well, icky to get.
The key is completing your Manure collection. Every once in a while, you get manure drops from animals on your frontier as you feed them. When you collect enough manure from several different animals, you’ll be able to turn in the collection for Saltpeter, which can then be used to craft fireworks for the quest. The challenge is getting enough manure. You’ll need to complete the following for each Saltpeter:
- Poultry Puddin – Collect from geese and chickens
- Piggy Poop – Collect from pigs
- Brush Brownie – Collect from sheep and goats
- Prairie Pile – Collect from horses and mules
- Meadow Muffin – Collect from cows and oxen
In addition to feeding and farming your own animals, try tending to your neighbor’s animals to increase the manure drops. Collecting enough to make all the fireworks you’ll need is going to take some time, so roll up your sleeves and get to it!
