Frontierville Varmints Trick

Anyone who’s played Frontierville for any length of time has come across plenty of varmints, those pesky critters that show up and cause trouble on your homestead. Whether it’s bears, snakes, or groundhogs, these guys appear and cause problems until you clobber them and drive them away. When you’re just getting started in Frontierville, clobbering varmints is a fun and entertaining activity. But later in the game, varmints are more of a nuisance than anything. They get in the way of what you’re doing and they cost precious energy to clobber and get rid of.

But here’s a neat trick. Varmints stay put until you clobber them, and they even remain after you log out. The really neat part is that only one varmint of each type will appear on your homestead at one time. So rather than drive off the varmints, keep them out of the way somewhere on your homestead, such as a corner. They’ll stay there peacefully and you can go about more important business.

  1. BCLR says:

Put your geese/chickens near a border. It typically takes one shot at the fox to dispose of it. Moving pine/oak to corners does the same for bears.

  2. FarCry says:

BCLR has good strategy. The thing about NOT clobbering varmints is that they are an invaluable resourse for coins, xp, and food.
So, try to make them appear near left and bottom edge for quick clobbering, the final whack yields bulk of reward so more varmints, fewer whacks, more payoff!
