FrontierVille Energy Cheats

Energy is a very important concept in FrontierVille. Most everything you can do in the game, such as clearing land, constructing buildings, and tending to your animals, is metered by available energy. Generally, every action you take requires one unit of energy. When you run out of energy, you either need to wait for your energy pool to replenish itself over time, or do certain things, such as eating meals or purchasing energy refills, to get it back.

FrontierVille energy bar

The good news is that energy replenishes itself over time. The bad news is that it grows slowly. When FrontierVille first launched, you would earn back one unit of energy every three minutes. Now that the creators of the game have done some re-balancing, it now takes five minutes for each energy point to accumulate. When you’re just starting out and don’t have very much energy to begin with, you’ll only need to wait about an hour or less for your energy to get back to full.

If you don’t want to wait, there are a few things you can do to restore some or part of your energy. Here are some basic energy cheats — tips and tricks to get energy back quickly in FrontierVille.

Eat Meals

You can trade in the food you accumulate in the game for meals, which instantly transform into energy. The simplest meal, the Light Snack, restores 3 energy points and only costs 32 food to create. It used to cost just 25 food, but again, the creators have been busy rebalancing the game. You can spend most food points to create larger meals, such as Breakfast, Lunch, or even the 7-course meal, to restore even more food. One item, the All You Can Eat, instantly restores all of your energy. But this item costs 10 horseshoes (FrontierVille’s for-pay currency) and is really designed for players at much higher levels in the game.

Friends

There are two basic ways to use your friends to get more energy. The first is simply by visiting them. Each time you visit one of your friends each day, you get a small amount of your energy restored. You can also get energy from friends through gifts of meals. If you’re constantly running low on your energy bar, ask your friends to send you the meals as gifts. If you’re able to build up a lot of FrontierVille friends who remember to send gifts to you regularly, you can keep your energy ball pretty high.

Working the Land

Each time you do something on your Frontier, you get small pick-up rewards that you click on such as XP, coins and food. Sometimes, you’ll get lucky and get a blue lightning bolt, which restores energy as well.

Level Up

Every time you get enough XP to reach a new level, your energy bar will restore to 100%. Knowing this is one of the more important cheats because you don’t want to waste your other energy boosts if you’re about to level up. It’s a really good technique to count up the XP left to level when you get close and plan out your energy usage accordingly. Ideally you want to almost run out of energy right before you level up so that you get as big of a free boost as possible.

Hopefully these tips will help you master one of the most important concepts in the game. Happy homesteading!

  2. Andie says:

GO to the main site and ask a bunch of people who play to be your friends. They are always looking.

go to facebook and type “Frontierville Friends” and add al those people who post on it

Go to the Forums section (look at the bottom of the game page). It will open in a new tab or window in most cases. There is a section where other people are looking for neighbors. You will have to make them your Facebook friend first, then make them your neighbor in FrontierVille.

You can turn in Collections for Energy as well. Click on your backpack then Collections. Be careful not to turn in all your collections as you may need some items for a mission. I usually leave 1 of each item in a collection just in case.

Keep in mind also that there is a maximum amount of energy you can have. Hover your cursor near the energy bar and you will see something like 10/25 which means you can only have 25. You need to use some so it will keep giving you more every 5 minutes. There are ways to increase your maximum energy. Look for “Energy Max +1″ on collections and energy purchases (such as Beef Jerky)
