How To Get the Best Cafe World Buzz Rating

January 30th, 2010 cheatspulse 3 comments

Buzz rating is very important to your success in Cafe World. Your Cafe World buzz rating is what determines how many customers enter your cafe, and the more customers that visit, the more coins you can make to advance in the game. The buzz rating is posted in the top right corner of the game with a green thumb next to it. The highest buzz rating you can get is 105.

Your buzz rating is affected by your customers’ experience in your cafe. There are two main factors that make up this experience:

* How long it takes a customer to find a seat
* How long it takes a customer to get served with food

If a customer cannot sit down at all, or it takes too long for a waiter to bring over food, that customer will leave and give you a negative buzz rating. A negative buzz rating will remove 1 point, while a positive one will only add .1 to your score. So it’s extremely important that you keep your customers happy by providing seats and meals all the time, as it will take you much longer to build back your buzz rating than it will to bring it down.

Keeping a high buzz rating can be very easy if you keep the following in mind.

First, make sure you have enough tables and chairs for everyone to sit. Only one person can sit at a table, so there’s no point in putting more than one chair at a table, unless you’re interested in that for aesthetic reasons. Also, you’ll want to leave a clear pathway to all the chairs and tables. If something is blocking the path, your customers won’t be able to sit on the chair, and your waiters won’t be able to serve the table. Be careful though about adding too many seats before you have enough servers. You can test this out by watching your rating closely. If you’ve done everything correctly and it’s still going down, try removing some chairs to see if that helps.

Second, always make sure you have food to serve. If there is no food in your cafe, your buzz rating will definitely go down. There are a couple of things you can do to prevent this. By planning out a cooking schedule, you can make sure there are always items to be served on your counter and dishes cooking on your stove. Look at the cooking time for each dish and plan accordingly. Keep in mind that you can prepare several of the same dish and it will only take up one counter. You’ll also want to account for your overnight and away hours and plan to have longer dishes cooking; you won’t want to start a shorter dish and be away from your computer for long periods of time, which will then spoil and not be served. Dirty stoves also bring your buzz rating down, so make sure to clean your stoves right away!

Third, hire more waiters. As you level up in the game, it’s possible to add more waiters to your cafe. You’ll want to do so as it costs no money and allows you to serve more customers in a timely fashion. Even if you have lots of seating and food to serve, not having enough waiters to serve the meals will negatively affect your buzz rating when customers have to wait too long for their orders.

Here are a few tricks that can help you maximize your buzz rating:

* Block your waiters behind counters. You can do this by leaving an open space behind a counter and blocking it on either side with a wall, stove, table or other furniture. Make sure, though, that there is at least one empty space behind each counter. If you block a counter in completely, your waiters won’t be able to get to it and your food on that counter will go unserved. Once you block your waiters in, they will immediately serve your customers and clean up without having to walk all the way to the table. This reduces serving time by a lot!

Café World 105 Buzz Rating

* Customize your cafe with lots of doors. The basic door is free in Cafe World, so you can add as many as you want to your cafe. By providing lots of places for your customers to get in and out of your cafe, it’s easier for them to move to different parts of your cafe to find a seat quickly, and more visitors can make their way through your cafe so you can achieve a good buzz rating faster.

* Remove your doors when you’re out of food. If you’re going to be away from your computer for awhile, or you’re waiting for meals to finish and don’t have anything to serve in the meantime, you can remove all of the doors from your cafe by dragging them back down to your customize toolbox. When you have no doors in your cafe, no customers can visit and thus not negatively affect your buzz rating. When you’re back at your computer, or ready to serve more dishes, just add the doors back on and allow the customers to come in. Update: If you’re logged out of the game, your buzz rating shouldn’t be affected negatively if there’s no food to serve.

If you keep a close eye on your cafe and follow all of these instructions, you can be well on your way to maintaining a 105 buzz rating all the time. Happy cooking, chefs!

Cafe World Medals

January 29th, 2010 cheatspulse No comments

Medals have come to Cafe World and they open up some new possibilities for advancement and achievement in the game. Unlike Cafe Points and Coins, which you accumulate through preparing dishes, Medals reward some of the more off-beat things you can do in the game. Currently, there are about 10 medal categories, and you can earn up to four levels of medal in each one. The medals come in four basic levels:

  • Bronze
  • Silver
  • Gold
  • Royal

Each level gets progressively more difficult to earn in each category and gives out better rewards. You earn coins and cafe points with each medal. Bronze medals reward 100 coins and cafe points. Silver gives you 300 coins and cafe points. Gold rewards you with 500 coins and cafe points. The final medal in each category, royal, has a reward of 1000 coins and cafe points! Going for medals early in the game can be a profitable undertaking. In theory, you can currently earn 19,000 CP and 19,000 coins from all the medals. While the coin rewards aren’t that impressive, the CP can be highly beneficial at the earlier levels.

The ten medals available right now are in these categories:

  • Adding Neighbors
  • Earning Coins
  • Helping Friends
  • Spending Coins
  • Serving Food
  • Getting Gifts
  • Spoiling your Dishes
  • Decorations Owned
  • Owning Items for Your Avatar
  • Serving Food on Consecutive Days

The last one is probably the most difficult because if you miss a day of serving food, the counter resets. This should not be a problem if you have a large cafe with dishes constantly in production, but beginning cooks may have trouble unless they actually log in to play every day.

About Cafe World Cash

January 28th, 2010 cheatspulse No comments

Sooner or later, as your cafe grows, you’ll start thinking about getting some Cafe Cash. This is a different kind of Cafe World money than regular coins. You don’t earn Cafe Cash from cooking items and serving them in your cafe, like you do with coins. You must buy Cafe Cash with real money if you want to be able to use it in the game. However, everyone starts Cafe World with 5 free Cafe Cash.

There’s a lot of reasons to get additional Cafe Cash in the game. Mostly it boils down to convenience and speed. Cafe Cash comes in really handy when you’re thinking about expanding your cafe, for instance. Many of the bigger expansions require a lot of coins, and more imporantly, neighbors. If you want to be able to expand your cafe without having to become neighbors with a lot of your friends and possibly strangers, you can use Cafe Cash to instantly buy the expansion! Another benefit is that certain decorations are only available with Cafe Cash. This is especially true with the seasonal or event decorations, like the Sports theme or the Alien space theme.

If you want to purchase Cafe Cash it’s really easy to do. Just click on the Add Coins and Cash button that you see on your screen. You will be taken to a different page where you can buy your Cafe Cash. You can purchase your cash with a credit card, Paypal, or one of many different options. The exchange rate of Cafe Cash for real money is about twenty cents in US Dollars for one Cafe Cash. If you purchase in bulk, you can get Cafe Cash for as low as sixteen cents.

A lot of people want to get free Cafe Cash, but sadly there’s no way you can get it for free. There are a few ways to earn Cafe Cash without buying it directly. If you scroll down on the purchase page, you’ll see special offers that give you free Cafe Cash as a reward. However, most of these offers still require you to purchase something, like a subscription to Blockbuster or a credit card offer. Still, if it’s something you were going to buy anyway, this is a great way to get Cafe Cash for “free” on top of the offer you’re buying. In some cases, the cost of the offer is lower than buying the same amount of Cafe Cash directly. You just have to consider the trade off of the inconvenience of having to sign up for something and possibly canceling it later.

Three Easy Ways to Get Cafe World Friends Fast

January 27th, 2010 cheatspulse 1 comment

Curious how to get more neighbors in Cafe World? In this article, we’ll share three easy ways to get neighbors in Cafe World, but first let’s talk about why it’s important to have neighbors in the game.

Having neighbors in Cafe World is very important to your advancement in the game. First of all, it’s an easy way to earn coins and experience points. You can visit up to 20 neighbors every day and receive 20 coins and 5 experience points for each neighbor. When visiting your neighbors, you can also check out what’s going on in their cafes and get ideas for your own. Neighbors can also visit your cafe and leave you tips, so the more Cafe World neighbors you have, the more tips you can earn.

In addition, Cafe World neighbors are a great source of gifts. They can send you one free gift each day that can be used in your cafe, typically a dish to serve your customers. These dishes earn you coins for free; you don’t have to spend your own Cafe World money to buy them. When you’re starting out in Cafe World, this is an easy and cost-effective way to serve more food and build up your coin balance. Sending free gifts to your neighbors often encourages them to do the same for you, so remember to give gifts as much as possible, and you should be rewarded similarly.

Eventually you’ll want to expand your cafe, so you can add more stoves, counters, and tables and chairs that enable you to cook and serve more food to more customers, thus earning you more coins in the game. In order to do so, you’ll need to have a certain number of neighbors for different expansions. For the 8 x 9 Quaint Cafe, one neighbor is required. The 9 x 10 Corner Cafe requires two neighbors, while the 10 x 12 Family Cafe requires four. You’ll need eight neighbors for the 12 x 13 Plentiful Cafe, 10 neighbors for the 13 x 15 Bountiful Cafe, and so on.

Lastly, the more active neighbors you have, the more you can benefit from their success in the game. For example, the first time a chef cooks a particular dish, or prepares a lot of one type of food, Cafe World will reward the “Chef’s Special.” This is an extra 100 servings of that dish that can also be shared with friends as a notification on Facebook. By checking your neighbor’s Facebook feeds, you can find these specials and get extra servings for your own cafe; and you can do the same for your neighbors. If a neighbor also posts when they earn a medal in Cafe World, you can collect coin bonuses as well, so keep an eye out on those news feeds.

Ready to find out how to add neighbors in Cafe World? There are some easy ways to add neighbors in Cafe World and we’ll list the top three here.

1. One of the first things you can do is click on the Neighbors tab and scroll down to the bottom of the page to see which Facebook friends of yours are already playing Cafe World. These people will likely add you immediately, since they know you. You can check their level, points and coins to determine who is the most active before adding them. The more active a player, the more benefit you’ll receive from add them as a neighbor in Cafe World.

2. If you search on Cafe World neighbors in Facebook, you can also find groups that are set up as neighbor recruiting resources. By joining these groups, you can then post “Add me” messages. People who see these can then add you as a neighbor. Alternatively, you can look for players requesting neighbors and add them as you see fit. To increase your success in these groups, try adding information about how active a player you are and your willingness to help your neighbors.

3. Finally, a great place to check for neighbor requests and post your own is the official Zynga “Add Me” forum for Cafe World, which can be found here: http://forums.zynga.com/forumdisplay.php?f=155. Here you’ll find some of the most dedicated players and you can easily find and add neighbors to help you advance in the game.

Decorating Tips for Cafe World

January 22nd, 2010 cheatspulse No comments

When setting up your cafe in Cafe World, there are two main considerations: functional design and aesthetic decor.

To maximize profits from your cafe, you’ll want to make sure you have the most efficient layout for earning coins. The most important thing to remember is that your waiter needs enough room to serve the tables, and your customers need a clear path to the tables so they can sit down to eat. If anything is blocked in by other furniture or decoration, those pieces will go unused and thus not earn you any money. This is true for everything except stoves; stoves can be blocked and still function.

The best configuration is a square with enough room around the edges for your customers and waiter(s) to walk. Remember that only one person can sit at a table, so multiple chairs around a table won’t earn you any more money. It’s also a good idea to expand your cafe; the default cafe doesn’t allow for a good setup of tables and chairs.

Once you have your cafe arranged to be a money-making machine, you can then focus on decorating it to your liking. To get started, click on the chair icon to “Customize.” You will see different categories for tables, chairs, doors, windows, floors, walls and decor. Click on any items you want to put in your cafe, and then drag it into your cafe to place it. You can rearrange and rotate your furniture and decorations in Customize mode, but remember that you won’t be earning any coins while doing so.

You can’t sell your purchased items, but you can place them in storage by dragging them to the Customize screen below, if you decide you don’t want them to appear in your cafe anymore. You will see x1, x2, etc. next to any storage items. You can use them again anytime, by dragging them back into your cafe, without being charged another time for them.

Begin by choosing a theme for your cafe — this could be country-based, such as Italian, or based on a certain color. Light colors make your place seem airy and open, while dark tones are warm and create an intimate space. Red has a strong first impression and can raise the energy level of a room. Yellow is a happy color and tends to brighten people’s moods. Blue is relaxing and calming, while green is also considered restful and pleasant. Purple, especially deep hues of it, can be dramatic and sophisticated. Orange is vibrant and energetic, and often evokes excitement and enthusiasm.

A modern theme would feature sleek greys, steel chairs, big windows and functional tables. Use checkered table cloths and dark wood for a classic Italian look, or Japanese screens and lanterns for a sushi-style dining experience. There are many sports-themed items in Cafe World, to create a fun place for your customers to eat and watch their favorite teams play on TV, which can be purchased for 35,000 coins. Furniture and decor can be expensive, so choose your items carefully!

Cafe World Best Recipes for Leveling Guide

January 21st, 2010 cheatspulse No comments

Cafe World is an incredibly fun game on Facebook. One of the best things about the game is that there are tons of different recipes that you can prepare in your cafe. Of course, in addition to the recipes themselves, the rewards for each are varied. Each one provides different cafe experience point (CP) and coin rewards. So what should an enterprising chef focus on to quickly gain levels? As with a lot of things in Cafe World, the answer is it depends.

The first question you should ask yourself is how often you’re willing to return to your cafe on any given day. There are many very short-term recipes in your Cafe World cookbook, like the popular Bacon Cheeseburger, which only takes 5 minutes to prepare. In general, these short-term dishes return the highest rate of coins and XP per hour, but only if you’re able to keep up the pace of serving and preparing more dishes every few minutes. For those who only want to log into the came every few hours or so, or even just once every day, there are still plenty of options available. Here’s a look at the best recipes to focus on for both short- and long-term cooking times if your primary goal is to earn Cafe Points and advance in levels quickly.

Best Short Term Recipes

If you’ve got the time to invest in keeping your cafe running, the best recipes for earning CP are all very short-term. The top earner is no surprise, it’s the famous Bacon Cheeseburger. It’s the very first recipe you learn to prepare in the game. You get 3 CP for preparing it, 3 more CP for serving it and 1 CP for cleaning the stovetop. That’s a total of 7 CP in just five minutes, or 84 CP per hour. Only the relatively new Hotdog and Garlic Fries recipe can match it, but that recipe doesn’t become available until level 45. Of course, it’s not a good choice if you can’t be in front of your computer constantly playing the game, so here’s a more complete list of “short term” recipes, ranked by CP/hour and with details on how much time each takes to prepare.

Rank Level Required Recipe CP/hour Cooking Time
1 1 Bacon Cheeseburger 84 5 minutes
2 45 Hotdog and Garlic Fries 84 5 minutes
3 23 Chicken Gyro and Fries 84 10 minutes
4 3 Chips and Guacamole 80 3 minutes
5 43 Powdered French Toast 63 20 minutes

Although Powdered French toast ranks fifth on the list, it’s a great option for players later in the game because you only need to return to your cafe every 20 minutes to serve the dishes instead of every 3-5. Lower level players who want a slightly less crazy pace should try serving the Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail. It delivers only 42 CP/hour, which is less than half of the Bacon Cheeseburger, but it only requires return trips to your cafe every 30 minutes. It’s still a short-term recipe, but a lot less manic!

Long Term Recipes

Can’t bear the thought of sitting for hours on end in front of your computer to level up in Cafe World. As much as we love the game, neither can we. That’s why we’ve also prepared a list of the best long-term recipes for leveling up. Here’s a selection of the best recipes to prepare if you’re only going to log into the game once every few hours. They earn a lot less CP/hour but are much more convenient for those of us who can’t spend every waking moment in our cafes.

Level Required Recipe CP/hour Cooking Time
54 Shu Mai Dumplings 26 6 hours
56 Lavish Lamb Curry 25 8 hours
52 Delicious Chocolate Cake 19.5 14 hours
35 Overstuffed Peppers 17.17 12 hours

You probably have noticed that the above recipes are all suited to higher level players. Here’s a selection of long-term recipes that low-level cooks can use.

Level Required Recipe CP/hour Cooking Time
1 French Onion Soup 15.25 4 hours
11 Spaghetti and Meatballs 1.5 8 hours
1 Triple Berry Cheesecake 11.67 12 hours
7 Savory Stuffed Turkey 9.8 22 hours

Of course, there are plenty of options and part of the fun of Cafe World is experimenting with different recipes and cooking times to see what works best for you. But if you’re looking for the best way to maximize your Cafe Points per hour, stick with the above charts. Happy cooking!
